The first release from Jester Jacobs in 3 years marks a new collaboration with West Londoner and Blah/Potent Funk affiliate Formz. The duo have been cooking up an album in that time but decided to release a teaser EP to share some of the offcuts.
That project is State Of The Art. An EP that explores Toxic Masculinity, Internet addiction and effective administration techniques. As a knowing nod to technology, it will also be released exclusively on an obsolete medium. 50 limited edition numbered cassette tapes.

Production on the project is solely handled by Formz and the only guest spot is Sheffield’s elusive Sniff for the sleazy ‘Supperclub’.

Formz has been producing in the shadows for a decade. He has worked alongside Alabama 3, DVLGNG and more recently Mud Fam’s Mongo. A banger specialist, his style effortlessly flits between dusty breaks and disgusting trap.

As well as rapper, Jacobs is also a stand up comedian performing in some of the Country’s most established venues and Internationally. He has shared stages with acts including Stuart Lee, Bill Burr and Mr. Motivator. Jester Jacobs is also in Moose Funk Squad and is preparing his third solo album.

The LP is fully produced by Formz and is entitled ‘Grimefulness’.
It’s due for release in 2043.
